Welcome to the Lake Park District Web site. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about Lake Mahopac.
 
At this site, you will discover all about the services provided by the committee, boating information, lake health, and various regulations regarding the lake.

THE TOWN OF CARMEL WILL HOLD IT FIRST COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WORKSHOP TO SOLICIT PUBLIC COMMENT ON A VISION FOR THE TOWN'S FUTURE, ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES, AND CONCEPTS FOR FUTURE LAND USES.

New York State Law requires anyone born in 1993 or later must have boater safety certificate on them to operate a motorboat.   
Any operator of Personal Water Craft (JETSKI) must have a boater safety certification.  

There has been some concerns about deicers and bubblers on the lake that have been impacting the recreational aspects of Lake Mahopac.   More information for homeowners that use bubblers or de-icers click here
