To All Boaters
New York State Law requires
- Any operator of Personal Watercraft (JETSKI) must have a boater safety certification no matter what age.
- Born in 1983 or later must have boater safety certificate on them to operate a motorboat in 2024.
- All motorboat operators regardless of age will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2025.

Attention Lakefront homeowners
The Police Marine Patrol has requested that homeowners mark their lakefront property with street address so they can respond to incidents on the lake when they receive a call.

There has been some concerns about deicers and bubblers on the lake that have been impacting the recreational aspects of Lake Mahopac. More information for homeowners that use bubblers or de-icers click here
