About Us
 

The Lake Mahopac Park District Advisory Committee is a group of individuals appointed by the Carmel Town Board to advise the board on issues that pertain to the health and safety of the lake.  Committee activities  include the monitoring of the lake water quality, liaison with the Carmel Police, the Putnam County Sheriff's Dept., the Auxiliary Coast Guard and coordinating with surrounding Lakes through the NY Federation of Lake Associations and the Department of Environmental Conservation.
 
 
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be holding public meetings 1st Monday of March, May, July and November until further Notice.  If you need to inform us or have something that needs to be addressed with the advisory board, please use CONTACT US Form.
 
You can also sent letter to the town board or come to the meeting.
